Adler Properties proudly carries on the multi-generational legacy of the Adler family real estate business. Built upon a strong foundation of over 60 years of experience managing and developing tens of millions of square feet of multi-tenant commercial properties and thousands of residential units including notable properties like the Miami International Commerce Center and Link at Douglas. MULTI FAMILY DEVELOPMENT
The Adler family real estate business traces its roots back to Samuel I. Adler, a visionary real estate developer. Throughout his career, Sam built a remarkable legacy by constructing over 6,000 high-rise multi-family apartment units across South Florida. As a pioneering developer, he ventured into Broward County, believing in the power of providing higher-quality beachfront properties at affordable prices.
COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT
In the early 1970s, Michael M. Adler, the son of Sam Adler, entered the real estate business and established the Adler Group. Recognizing a substantial demand for industrial space near the Miami International Airport, Adler acquired 360 acres of land leading to the development of approximately 4.5 million square feet of industrial and office space, known as Miami International Commerce Center (MICC). The establishment of MICC pioneered Airport West, Miami’s premier industrial submarket.
OPERATING COMPANY
Michael recognized the importance of direct operations in maximizing value across the property portfolio, leading to the establishment of Adler’s own management company, Adler Management Services. (AMS).
LARGE-SCALE DEVELOPMENT
During the 80s and 90s Adler Group developed several large-scale industrial parks, including Boca Commerce Center and Vista Center in Palm Beach County, as well as a high-rise office tower at 1221 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s financial district.
ACQUISITIONS and INVESTMENTS MANAGEMENT
During the 1990s, Adler Group broadened its scope to encompass both existing acquisitions and ground-up development projects. Expanding beyond South Florida, the company acquired and operated properties in Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Greensboro. Through strategic partnerships with institutional investors, Adler significantly grew its portfolio to 8 million square feet of multi-tenant light industrial and related business parks.
ADLER REALTY SERVICES (ARS)
Adler Management Services rebranded as Adler Realty Services. The firm effectively leveraged its expertise in leasing, property management, and asset management to enhance the value of its investments. As ARS expanded, it extended its comprehensive real estate services to third-party property owners, in addition to properties within the Adler portfolio.
MULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENT
Jonathan Raiffe, the grandson of Sam Adler, joined forces with Michael and David Adler to revive Adler’s multifamily development legacy and establish strategic partnerships with public entities. Their bold initiative resulted in the successful delivery of over 2,500 units, valued at more than $1 billion. Notably, Jonathan led the execution of acclaimed projects such as the Shorecrest Club, Motion at Dadeland, and Link at Douglas in Miami, and Pearce at Pavilion in Tampa.
